The SteamPros are custom-filted products, tailored to meet your needs. However, condensate load varies. For most equipment, the load variations are quite manageable. Others may be almost totally of steady. Others may be extremely variable. These can not or may not to suitable for the SteamPro. They beyond to a small minority group.

When variations are moderate, there will always be a fair amount of condensate present. The presence of the condensate slows down the steam. Therefore, the steam loss is very minimal and SteamPro will work at 99.5% + efficiency. In scientific terms, SteamPro products work under the principal of two-phase flow. However, to take advantage of the two-phase flow, SteamPro should not be allowed to work with a condensate rate of less than 25 ~ 30% of the device capacity. Proper sizing is important. Steam traps can tolerate huge over sizing and adjust very well. Unfortunately, they are sluggish and may lose a large amount of live steam when failing to open and close.
